“ What a great little gem. We stop and eat here every time we travel from Barcelona to Andorra. They cook all the meat in an open fire and if you seat at the low bar you will see all the action! Very nice Mel I mato - local soft cheese and honey dessert. ”

“ Very nice and familiar place, with pleasant and helpful girls as personnel. We came from a very long and tiresome trip, hungry as wolves, without being able to speak a word spanish, but the girls did everything to feed us :) I can only recommend. ”
“ Best steak i've had in a restaurant in years. Sitting at the kitchen is a must. This place should be way way way higher rated, it is FANTASTIC. Staff super friendly, constantly cracking jokes with each other, beautiful gorgeous steaks cut from the block by the chef, made with love and attention. House wine is great, just absolutely 10/10 spot. ”

“ Followed a previous excellent review and was not disappointed. Had the BEST fillet beef I've ever tasted coupled with the house salad. Cooked on an open fire right in front of your eyes so simple yet superb! Highly recommend you dip in to Ponts to experience this amazing little restaurant....well worth it! ”
“ This was my favourite meal in Spain. Unexpected coz this restaurant is located in an old industrial town called Ponts, at a crossroads between Andorra and Barcelona. Each dish was perfect. I don't even like octopus but found myself devouring the version they have here, which is delicately prepared to a perfect texture and served simply with olive oil and a dash of paprika. They also serve a version of ceviche that was incredible. Tasty, enough acid to just cook the fish but leave a lovely velvety texture. Even the tomato bread was noteworthy, crusty with the olive oil and rubbed tomato forming a peaceful balance between richness and acid. The mixed cured meats was predictably great, providing a punchy salty bite. And the cava was a bottle of Anna de Codorniu, served in bucket of ice, which was the perfect tonic for a week of 30c temperatures. Very nice host who went above and beyond to accommodate English-speaking guests by translating the entire menu. ”
